Charlotte has been named one of the most desirable cities in the U.S. to live and relocate too! Weather changes with each season but not too much change! The afordability of a home is now the best it has been in many years. Banks now have money to loan! Buyers should start to realize that now is a GREAT time to buy homes. Buyers have the best of both low home prices AND very low interest rates. Investors are also finding great values in the Charlotte market. This is the best time in many years to also purchase investment real estate. Remember more wealth has been made in real estate than any other investment. U. S. Airways has a major hub here with many non-stop destinations available. Cabarrus County which is just Northeast of Charlotte, is set for major growth in the two cities of Kannapolis and Concord with the coming of the New North Carolina Research Campus. This is a major Bio campus with laboratory buildings already being constructed. This will be five years in the building at a cost of over one Billion Dollars. It will be financed with 90% private money. David H. Murdock is the primary investor in this business venture. Over 15,000 new jobs will be created and many of these will be bio tech and engineering jobs.

New 55 plus communities are VERY popular all over and builders have started several nice projects here. Sun City in upper South Carolina near Charlotte will have over 4,000 homes and be a city within itself. Other builders are seeking land to build more of these developments. These kind of projects usually are built with one level dwellings, have a club house, pool, and all yard work is provided in the HOA fees. And these very desirable communities are for ACTIVE adult.

If you have been thinking about adding real estate properties to you investments, now is a GREAT time to consider a real estate investment. HAVE YOU CONSIDERED REAL ESTATE FOR YOUR 401k? Speaking as a former property manager with the rental market getting much better, rents will increase and so will YOUR real estate investment. Use a property manager to manage your property and you do not need to work about finding a tenant or collecting the rent payments! A 20 Per Cent down payment will give you many tax advantages and the tenants will be paying off your mortgage payment!! For any of your real estate needs or questions contact Bill Selby, Realtor
